Carles Enseñat Reig (born 20 February 1985) is an Andorran politician from the Democrats for Andorra who has been General Syndic of the General Council since 26 April 2023.[1]
Biography
Carles Ensenyat Reig was born in Encamp and is the son of the businesswoman and politician Maria Reig Moles. He is also the grandson of Serafí Reig Ribó, coming from a prominent family with deep political tradition in the Principality of Andorra. His mother was part of the Constituent Commission who developed the Andorran Constitution in 1993.
He studied Law and a Master at the Commerce High Studies School in Paris (HEC-Paris), and is, out of the political arena, a businessman.
In April 2023 he became the youngest General Syndic in Andorran history.
