Ben Marsden (born 19 May 1993) is a British rock guitarist, known as a member of the Wildhearts and the backing band for Warner E. Hodges. He also founded the Spangles.
Career
Marsden formed the Spangles in the mid-2010s with Polly Phluid and Ginna Rhodes. Drummer Ace Carlton joined later. The band has released one full-length album and one EP,[1] and last toured in 2023.[2] Marsden has also been a member of the backing band for Warner E. Hodges since 2018, and has appeared on three albums with Hodges.[3] He then joined the Wildhearts in early 2024.[4] That band first played a series of shows as the Moodswingers[5] as a warmup for a headlining show at Shepherd's Bush Empire.[6] Marsden played on the album Satanic Rites of the Wildhearts, released in March 2025.[7]
