The 2024 National Premier Leagues NSW is the 12th season of the National Premier Leagues in New South Wales and the second season under the revised competition format. The season began on 16 February 2024 and is scheduled to conclude on 25 August. APIA Leichhardt are the defending champions.
The 2024 season is a double round-robin format with each team playing 30 games for the regular season. The top-six team qualifies to the finals series which returned after the format was omitted from last season.[1][2] The competition's matches were broadcast free and live on YouTube with the addition of the 2024 Waratah Cup.[3]
After 28 matches, closing towards the end of the season, Rockdale Ilinden were named premiers on 18 August, the club's first major title in over four decades.[4] During the campaign, Western Sydney Wanderers were sanctioned for alleged breaches in relation to "several incidents on 5 and 11 May" according to Football NSW. The Wanderers were fined AU$33,500, deducted six points and given 'restricted access' for away supporters.[5]
