The 2023 season is Ventforet Kofu's 58th season in existence and the club's sixth consecutive season in the second division of Japanese football. In addition to the domestic league, Ventforet Kofu will participate in this season's edition of the Emperor's Cup. The club will be making their debut in the AFC Champions League, having secured their place after winning the Emperor's Cup.
