The 1951 Prairie View A&M Panthers football team represented Prairie View A&M College of Texas—now known as Prairie View A&M University—as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1951 college football season. In their third and final season under head coach James A. Stevens, the Panthers compiled an overall record of 9–1 with a mark of 6–1 in conference play, winning the SWAC title.[2] Prairie View A&M defeated Arkansas AM&N in the Prairie View Bowl, 27–26.
