William Murphy (activist)
William Murphy (1834–1872) was an Irish anti-Catholic activist and public lecturer.[1] Murphy was born at Castletown Conyers, County Limerick, on 1 August 1834; he was killed at Whitehaven in 1872 by a group of angry Irish miners.[1]
