The WikiDinosaur was a prehistoric WikiFauna that edited exclusively in the distant past, extant during the WikiWikian and Nupedian eons. Despite being wiped out during the mass wiki-extinction event of 2003, they live on as the ancestors of all modern WikiFauna.
Subspecies
WikiAgent
Described as "an agent that senses and acts on WikiPages (and beyond)."[1] Technically almost all WikiFauna are WikiAgents, but the term has long fallen into obsolescence. Thus, WikiAgents can be considered the prototype of the concept of WikiFauna, in the way natural philosophy was the prototype of natural science.
WikiButcher
The ancestor of the WikiVandal and its ilk.[2]
WikiMaster
A wise and fabled user who penned the primordial wisdom: "WikiMasters add value by removing that without". While many other sayings are attributed to this mysterious figure,[3] it is more likely they were written by countless anonymous "Wikizens" (users), showing the WikiMaster lives within us all.[4] The WikiMaster should not be confused with The WikiMaster, who is basically the complete opposite.
WikiFilterist
Believed in allowing multiple viewpoints – "don't like it, don't read it".[5] The ancestor of the Inclusionist.
WikiReductionist
The ancestor of the Deletionist.[6]
Lumbering WikiFauna who created big, bold edits, they were the ancestors of WikiDragons.
WikiWiki-sama
The primal mother of all wikis.
Userboxes
It is generally assumed that all WikiDinosaurs are extinct. However, if any living WikiDinosaurs are out there, they may self-identify with these userboxes:
