Characters in the Contra Series

No such list in the target article. (There was an article at this title for about a month in 2007 before an apparent WP:BLAR.) Steel1943 (talk) 00:54, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. This was just the result of a short-lived BLAR back in 2007. It's an likewise an unlikely search target and even in that case, it suggests there's something dedicated to this specific subtopic, but there isn't really. 35.139.154.158 (talk) 16:31, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Aenona

This was the ancient name of this settlement, but it is also the name of an extinct genus. Given that this name is no longer in use, I believe the genus would be a primary topic here, and thus this redirect should be deleted as REDYES (a hatnote can be placed on the article for the genus when it is eventually created). There are incoming links for both meanings, so some will need to be fixed. — Anonymous 23:10, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguate between Nin and Tellinidae, where I just added the genus Aenona (mollusc). WP:PRIMARYRED says that the situation is treated as if there is no primary topic until the red-linked article is written. jlwoodwa (talk) 23:24, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

College fund

Currently redirects to 529 plan. College does not just exist in the United States though, even if the cost of tuition there means that people are more likely to set a savings fund early. Anyone have better target ideas? Or a rationale for why it should stay the way it is? Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 22:59, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. The phrase is ambiguous. Could it refer to money a parent saves for their kids? (Can't find an article for that.) Could it refer to funds given to colleges to use for various reasons? (There's probably an article for that is WP:BIAS-neutral per geography, but I couldn't find one.) In other words, there's no guarantee a reader is looking for this target at all, and there are other plausible subjects a reader could be looking for. (If any other targets are found, consider thus vote either a "retarget" or "disambiguate", depending on the amount of other articles found.) Steel1943 (talk) 22:40, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

City of Austin

There are multiple cities named Austin, so I suggest either retargeting to Austin#United States or at least adding this term in a hatnote to there. Duckmather (talk) 06:01, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Keep, Austin, TX is by by a wide margin the most notable city named Austin. — Red XIV (talk) 05:01, 3 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: Keep or retarget?

Town of Brighton

There are several towns named Brighton, so I suggest retargeting to Brighton (disambiguation)#Places. Duckmather (talk) 05:52, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: Retarget to Brighton? Or to Brighton (disambiguation)?

A Sam

Not mentioned at target and could also refer to a lot of other things (eg Sam (given name)), so maybe delete? Duckmather (talk) 05:27, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Duckmather: I noted that it was from http://www.doe.k12.ga.us/Curriculum-Instruction-and-Assessment/Special-Education-Services/Documents/Year%20of%20age%20cohorts%20chart.pdf but unfortunately the link is not only dead, but seems to have never been archived. I would have created this since "A Sam" would have been used as an abbreviation in this document. WhisperToMe (talk) 05:32, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Eh. The only use I could find was this [1]. Ca talk to me! 14:35, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that RNZ used this abbreviation shows that it is valid. Anyhow I support BD2412's retargeting of the redirect. Then the abbreviation can be mentioned in Asam WhisperToMe (talk) 12:41, 4 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative Learning Center

This content only lasted 2 months in 2008 and was completely unreferenced. However, many articles [2] have "Alternative Learning Center" sections, or entire articles about one, while this target does not. Seems like a missing article on a generic topic, or a dab list should exist. -- 65.92.246.77 (talk) 06:26, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Karim López

Not mentioned in target. Mentioned as an alternative name of Kareem Lopez, but the basketball player appears to be the primary topic by far. Rusalkii (talk) 02:53, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

3 digit Super Bowl redirects

This Sunday is Super Bowl 59 and we only have articles up to Super Bowl 62. The numbering of Super Bowls won't enter 3 digits, at this pace, for another 38 years. Additionally, they're simply never written or marketed with anything other than the appropriate number of digits. These are unlikely search terms based on this and should be deleted.
