Uploaded by Gateman1997 ().CV. Free alternative could easily be taken by a Wikipedian in the area. Precedent set in late May with deletions of other copyrighted stadium pictures. —fuzzy51000:39, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Objection. Currently the stadium is closed for both rennovation and because it is not football season. No free alternative can be created until the fall when the rennovation is complete and the season starts. At that time we can obtain a free version. Gateman199715:34, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for letting me know. Sorry to see him go, but probably there is no way to have him here in Wikipedia yet... Fantasy21:29, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is a magazine scan that I uploaded! What do I Do!?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by KevinC2125 (talk • contribs) .
It is my understanding that images simply scanned from magazines constitute a copyright infringement on Wikipedia. Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken or if there are exceptions. Dwiki00:07, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Rigurat (). CV. Image is a screenshot of BBC coverage of a current event- it cannot be fair use because it's competing with BBC. --Rory09607:01, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Yarnalgo (). Spoken article for disambig page that no longer exists, spoken by illiterate 13yo boy with a lisp, extremely low quality, breathing sounds make sound file unlistenable. POV text (subsequently deleted) spoken in a POV way. A highly undesireable piece of work. THE KING13:41, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Support Sorry for the low quality, It was sort of a test run for me. I agree this should be deleted. There is no point in having a recording of a two sentence stub that doesn't exist anymore. --Yarnalgo19:02, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well i have to agree, i did have a bit of a chuckle to myself when listening to it. Is it possible to BJAODN it? THE KING07:30, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Due to the fair use policy of Wikipedia, which states:
The material should not be used in a manner that would likely replace the original market role of the original copyrighted media; our use of copyrighted material should not make it so that one no longer needs to purchase the actual product.
it has been decided that images derived from "model sheet" images from the following sources:
the various trading card series released by the many comic book publishing companies are not allowable on Wikipedia as their use would indeed infringe upon the original role of the image in question.
"Objection. Plenty of interior art is on Wikipedia. I doubt that image will stop people from buying the Endsong miniseries. --DrBat01:04, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Plenty of interior art is on Wikipedia. That is the problem. Interior pages have to be used sparingly. --Facto03:43, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
1) Do you honestly believe that image will stop people from buying Endsong if they want to? 2)It was also released as a promotional material on Newsarama. --DrBat00:34, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
