I realise that the sourcing is quite good but because he fails WP:ATHLETE and because he's 16, which means it can be recreated easily, I have to nominate it for deletion. A few of the sources are just passing mentions and also there is nothing absolutely extraordinary about this youngster that makes him more notable than any other that hasn't made a professional appearance. - Delete - while there are a number of sources, they all seem to be simply talking about him becoming a professional - and WP:NTEMP states that "routine news coverage of such things as announcements, sports, and tabloid journalism are not sufficient basis for a topic to have its own standalone article." Therefore he seems to fails both WP:GNG and WP:ATHLETE, and should be deleted. GiantSnowman 15:49, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete and recreate when he makes his debut. JRA_WestyQld2 Talk 09:56, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
