Film directors are not given an automatic free pass over WP:BIO just because they exist — their ability to qualify for Wikipedia articles is determined by criteria at WP:AUTHOR. Seemingly, the subject has directed several films and documentaries but none of them is notable (at least by WP standards). The page claim the subject has received a couple of awards but I was unable to verify them via RS. Search doesn't produce any coverage and substantial information in the independent RS about the person either so fails to meet basic GNG.. Therefore I don't see any significance yet.
