Just so you know, I think your addition to Timeline of the Second Temple period was reasonable but still rolled it back. I myself have included the term "diadochi" in several articles, but I figure that while that article is on the main page, it should be as accessible as possible - most readers don't read past the lead section, I'm afraid. Anyway, if you want to link a Wikipedia article, use double brackets in the source editor. You don't need to use single brackets which are used for external links. In other words:

• [[diadochi]] results in diadochi
