Hey, my boyfriend’s roommate and one of my closest friends took his own life yesterday. He was a talented musician within South Africa (where we live) and I would love to get a wiki article up about him. I decided to create a wiki account and edit a page for the first time this week after an in-person visit to the site of the former Wm. J. Cassidy Bldg. for work. That's why I update that article in particular for my first edit. I took a photo of the new apartment building constructed over the site of the original Cassidy bldg. that is of decent quality. Is it good practice to use my own original photo for an article? If anything I figure this releases wikipedia of any copyright issues. --Bboylewiki (talk) 23:10, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
