The {{WikiProject Games}} template should be added to talk pages of all game related articles. To add an article to the list, simply add the following code to the talk page of the article and give values to the parameters described below:

Formatting parameters
- no-todolist - Optional, hides the to-do list if no-todolist=yes.
General parameters
- class – Article's current rating. If blank, this will default as Unassessed. NA means "not applicable" (might be used on something like a talk archive page). Descriptions of the options can be found at Category:Games articles by quality.

"Category", "Template", "Portal" and "File" are generated automatically these days, so you don't need to add them.
- importance – An assessment of the article's importance for the project. If blank, this will default as Unknown priority. NA means "not applicable". This is the importance within Xbox, see Category:Games articles by importance for further description.
