I don't have a reliable source, but I'm pretty sure that MSG used to play the instrumental version at the beginning of Yankees broadcasts as well, meaning that it would have been used until the creation of YES in 2002. Or maybe it was used on the occasional WPIX games? When was the last time PIX aired a Yankees game?
