Nishimura Riki (Japanese: 西村 力, born 9 December 2005), known mononymously as Ni-Ki (Korean: 니키, Japanese: ニキ),[1] is a Japanese singer based in South Korea. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Enhypen.

Career

2014–2019: Early life and pre-debut activities

In 2014, Ni-Ki passed the Kento Mori [ja] commercial audition, and appeared in a commercial for Sony DVD players in the same year.[2][better source needed]

On July 25, 2015, Ni-Ki appeared as "Riki Jackson" in the Japanese TV show FNS 27hour TV.[3][better source needed]

In 2016, Ni-Ki appeared in The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" Japanese music video. He appeared at a Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra concert and danced to "Paradise Has No Border". In the same year, he appeared in Legend Tokyo Chapter 5 as a dancer to 'Michael Jackson Legend Tribute' choreographed by Travis Payne. He also appeared on a Nichii Sharyo commercial using the name "Riki Jackson".[4][5][6]

In 2017, he appeared as a dancer at the 2017 Yumi Katsura Grand Collection. Later in the same year, he appeared as a child dancer in SHINee WORLD 2017 ~FIVE~ Special Edition. On March 11, Ni-Ki appeared in Yuzu's music video "タッタ".[7]

2020–present: Debut with Enhypen

In 2019, 13-year-old Ni-Ki became a trainee under Belift in South Korea. He competed in the survival show I-Land in 2020, placing fourth and earning a spot in Enhypen. On November 30, 2020, he debuted as a member of Enhypen with the release of their first extended play (EP) Border: Day One.[8] In 2022, he appeared as a guest on &Team Gakuen.[9] On May 14, 2023, he served as a special MC of KCON Japan 2023 with Ryujin of ITZY.[10][11]
