The Investigatory Powers (Technical Capability) Regulations 2018 is a statutory instrument of the United Kingdom. It was set up under the provisions of section 267(3)(i) of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016.^[1]

It makes provision for the Secretary of State to issue "technical capability notices" to "relevant operators" that require them to give the British government access to their systems.^[1]
