Grant Township is an agricultural township in Cloud County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 479.

History

Grant Township was organized in 1872 and was named after President Ulysses S. Grant.[1]

Geography

Grant Township covers an area of 36.01 square miles (93.3 km2) and contains one incorporated settlement, Jamestown.[citation needed] According to the USGS, it contains two cemeteries: Jamestown and Saint Marys.[citation needed]

The streams of Cheyenne Creek, Little Cheyenne Creek, Marsh Creek and Skunk Creek run through this township.
