Description
English: GDR's states (Länder) as created 1945-1947 after WWII shown with purple borders. They were abolished in 1952, but were recreated in similar borders (red) in prior to German re-unification in 1990.
Deutsch: Die nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg 1945–1947 gebildeten DDR- Ländergrenzen in violett. In rot die Grenzen der neuen Länder von 1990.
