Summary

Description
English: Cheshunt Public Library The library was funded by the Andrew Carnegie Trust and opened in 1907. It included a School of Art, and every feature of the building was meticulously designed and crafted. The wings to the left and right were added in 1956. There is a Francis Frith photograph from around 1955 that shows the building in its original state here http://www.francisfrith.com/pageloader.asp?page=/search/photos/viewphoto.asp&neg=C319025&townid=&collectionid=10&start=1 From a Geograph point of view the front of the building is in this grid square, but the rear is in TL3601.
