Emilia Ignacia Dides Maffei (born 29 June 1999)[1] is a Chilean singer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Universe Chile 2024. She represented Chile at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant and finished as a Top 12 semifinalist.[2]
Personal life
Dides was born on 29 June 1999, in Vitacura, Santiago.[3] Dides studied at the Universidad Mayor, a private university in Santiago.[4]
Career
In 2018, Dides entered the second season of the television talent competition Rojo, el color del talento. After winning the competition, Dides obtained a scholarship to study at the Jackie Arredondo Music World in Miami, Florida.[4]
Dides released several singles under the pseudonym "Emi D" such as "Quiéreme bien", "Inevitable" and "Hay danger". She also participated in The Covers of Mega.[4]

Miss Universe Chile 2024
During the competition's final coronation night in 7 July 2024, Dides was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2024. She competed at Miss Universe 2024.[5]
Miss Universe 2024
Dides represented Chile at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant on 16 November 2024 in Mexico City. Dides concluded her Miss Universe journey by finishing as a Top 12 semifinalist.[2]
