Puppets are Nu-Metal band formed in Bangkok Thailand consisting of Bassist Sukatouch "First" Phadungpong [AKA Van Der First] , drummer Tyann "Can" Singhapat , guitarist Promsumet "Plug" Towijit , and vocalist Panachart "Earth" Phunphon.

Initially formed in 2019 by First the band officially established as a four-piece with the founding line-up consisting of First, Plug, Champs and Aoff. After the departure of Champs and Aoff, the band released their debut EP album on 2019 called "For All who those Left behind" and decide to fill in with a member that just left by Letting Earth a vocalist from Cursed in White for fill in as a touring member before change to be a main member later and Can drummers from the band called "Exzeed" Which just finished a competition Hotwave Music award on that time to join the band as a main member. The band has 1 EP and 1 Full album which called "Self - Untitled" on 2024

Van Der First has form the band in Bangkok,Thailand with the rest of the member. The Band was form because First with the rest of the band was being around at the gig that they've play. at the beginning everyone was in there main band before come to join in Puppets as a side project at that time. Puppets was a cover band project that use an influence from a 90 - 2000's Nu-Metal bands like Limp Bizkit , Korn , Slipknot , Linkin Park and others. and running around the town in the names of "Nu-Metal cover band" before turn into a band with original song in later time.

After discussion about turning a band from cover band to an artist band officially , the band start to do a demo with a titled of "Bully" which is an idea from jamming within a rehearsal studio and start to do a song with Sound Story Studio which is own by Earth and He was in the position of guitarist from the band called Monstercock at that time after finished the song "Bully" was release in 15 march 2019 as a first song of the band.

After the band released Bully as a first song , they're start to do more song which is a begin of a For all who those left Behind EP This EP mostly came up with an idea of jamming within a rehearsal studio and finally got a 4 songs contain in the EP.

Meanwhile the band was do a For all who those left Behind EP , Champ was decide to step down from a vocalist position due to a personal reason and will be return when everything clear up for him. The band decide to pick Earth up as a session vocalist at that time then the band decide to do a EP along with Earth after Champ was decide to leave then the band make a decision to fill Earth as a main member after the band nearly finish there EP.

After EP For all who those left Behind has been released. Aoff decide to leave the band due a personal financial issues. the band was looking for a new member once again after Champs leave. The band meet up with Can from the band called "Exzeed" which is a band who have enter a "Hotwave Music Award" competition which Earth is a coach for other bands that enter the same competition. Can was invited by Earth to join the band after the band was have no drummer in a while and he accept to join the band make him as a official member.

After line up has been confirm to be change from original to half of the band changed, the band was struggling again within a years of COVID-19 the band was trap inside of many depressed mental health and trying to do something all along these situation.

The band came back with a song called "Standing in The dark" which is a song that Earth has doing a demo between a timeline of COVID-19 situation. then in 2021 the song released and take back a good feedback from many of a fans along with a first song within 3 years that got the most view on Band's Youtube channel.

"Standing in the dark was a song that really change everything for Puppets. After we relased on our channel , We really saw that it's change our fans perspective and mostly of a modern sound that we have decide to put on a song which is one of a high jump of us, We would like to thanks every one who like our work we promise you all to do more things that the best to you all " - Earth

The band was start to do a new songs after a release of Standing in The Dark another demo done after that 2 days and the band name it "Heart mind and Fire" the band decide to have a guest on a guitar solo part which the band decide to send an invitation to Nook from the band called Motif Which is a one of the famous thai rock band.

Then the band release "Heart mind and Fire" in 2022 and start to confirm that the band on process for doing a new full album and it is coming soon.

after the band was released 2 new song , the band got a opportunity to play on Paradise Fest which in one of the biggest rock and metal music festival and get for opportunity on tour around asia on Vietnam,Malaysia and Japan on 2023. the band confirm a new album coming out on 2024.

On 18 April 2024 the band have official released an album on titled "Self-Untitled" which contain 10 new song in an album and featuring with a band called Motif and SiCK the nu-metal band from Malaysia which still available to nowadays.
