Justice Nisar Ahmed Bhanbhro (born 25 January 1976) is a Pakistani judge.

Early life and background

Nisar Ahmed Bhanbhro was born on 25 January 1976 in the village of Bachal Bhanbhro, located in the Khairpur District of Sindh, Pakistan. His father, Ghulam Abbas Bhanbhro, was a journalist. He was educated at the Government Primary School in Bachal Bhanbhro and at the Government High School in District Khairpur of Hingorja. He then gained a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah (1994–2000) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur (2000–2003).

Mr. Bhanbhro began his legal career as an Advocate in the Subordinate Courts of Khairpur District on 12 June 2004.[1] On 31 August 2006, he was enrolled as an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.[1] On 6 November 2020, Mr. Bhanbhro was enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Judicial career

On 23 January 2025,[2] out of 46 nominees,[3] the Judicial Commission of Pakistan nominated Nisar Ahmed Bhanbhro[4] for appointment as a Judge of the Sindh High Court.[5][6][7][8]

Following his nomination, on 27 January 2025, the President of Pakistan officially appointed Nisar Ahmed Bhanbhro as a Judge of the Sindh High Court.[9][10][11]
