Anthony Hankerson (born February 3, 2004) is an American college football running back for the Oregon State Beavers. He previously played for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Early life

Hankerson attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he rushed for 3,420 yards and 43 touchdowns and helped the team to three Class 7A state titles.[1] He was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Colorado Buffaloes.[1]

College career

Colorado

As a freshman in 2022, Hankerson rushed for 274 yards and three touchdowns on 68 carries in eight games.[2] In 2023, he rushed 78 times for 319 yards and a touchdown.[3] After the season, Hankerson entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[4]

Oregon State

Hankerson transferred to play for the Oregon State Beavers.[2]
