This was kept before (Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2013 December 27#Darren Douglas) but it seems to be the first name and middle name of a person mentioned in the article, and it looks like this was not noticed at the last discussion. There are other articles where people with this name are mentioned, or where these are first name and middle name of the subject. Peter James (talk) 16:58, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: Normally a nomination with no other !votes is quorum for deletion at RfD, but given that this was previously kept I'm going to relist it.

Draft was turned into a redirect to a pre-existing article. It looks as though it was abandoned when the mainspace article was discovered. It has subsequently been cleared and 'deleted' added as the only content. The page was not merged or moved AFAICT and there shoul;d not be attribution issues. It is a redundant redirect that does not serve any purpose. Eagleash (talk) 13:10, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like a made-up Nintendo console. Not mentioned in the target article. Can't find sources which said the Gameboy DS "was" the Nintendo DS. Purplneon486 (talk) 11:20, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Originally nominated for speedy deletion by @Nyxaros with the reason "it is not linked in any page" FASTILY 01:21, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep as unambiguous. It's an {{R from move}}, so K4 and WP:FILEREDIRECT apply. The difference between this redirect and the target is that this redirect employs a curly apostrophe instead of a straight one. J947message ⁓ edits 03:58, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment: Redirects should work if the reader will use it at least on the search bar. A curly apostroph doesn't change anything, in addition to the redirect page with zero incoming links from other pages. nyxærös 06:14, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. This was only at the original title for less than a day. Fixing any incoming links is a trivial matter. Link rot concerns don't apply for such a short time at the original title. Redirects to files are not especially useful to begin with, since they're not being searched for by readers, and for NFCC stuff specifically, since their use is so limited. This should really be a speedy criterion for this. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:21, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:FILEREDIRECT since it is a {{R from move}}. That, and the difference between the apostrophes couldn't plausibly refer to anything else. Steel1943 (talk) 12:05, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Had the mover possessed pagemover rights, the creation of this redirect would certainly have been suppressed, appropriately so. The presence of pagetitles containing the curly apostrophe (whatever the namespace) is currently WP:COSTLY given the state of availalbe maintenance tools. • Keep per WP:FILEREDIRECT and {{R from move}}. A curly apostrophes redirecting to a straight one is in pretty much every conceivable scenario going to be an example of a harmless and potentially useful redirect, and this is no exception. Tools should always, without exception, deal with the encyclopaedia as they find it - adjusting the encyclopaedia solely to make life easier for maintenance tools is never appropriate.
