- The result of the discussion was keep. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 21:29, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
I understand that Ed Vezey was the last survivor of USS Oklahoma, but the article doesn't mention him, and so a user isn't going to learn anything about him. I suggest "Ed Vezey" is ambiguous as a misspelling and should be retargeted to Ed Vaizey, or deleted. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:51, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was delete. No prejudice against recreation when there is enough information on the next election for either an article or a mention at the main article. -- Tavix (talk) 14:22, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

Delete since these elections are now in the past. No inbound links. UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:26, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Raymond1922 (talk) 21:38, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- Delete er nom. These are constantly moving targets, and if the date isn't known they're clearly unlikley to warrant an article. Sionk (talk) 21:49, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- Retarget those that are cyclical to either the actual next election (if there is an article) or to the page that covers that series of elections (e.g. Next Gabonese legislative election → National Assembly of Gabon) as these will always be useful search terms that we should keep up to date. Delete those which are not part of a regular cycle iff there is no currently correct target for them. We've had loads of discussions about Next... redirects over the years and this has been the logical consensus formed in the majority of them - Wikipedia is not paper and moving targets present no obstacle to helping our readers find the content they are looking for. - The result of the discussion was delete. Speedy deleted G3 as a hoax, like all of the editors other creations. Not even a useful redirect. Black Kite (talk) 22:59, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- 2019 FIBA Under-19 Club World Cup → 2019 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Was initially created as a full-blown article, which was then attempted to G3 as an obvious hoax (which it was.) However, it was subsequently redirected to this article instead. However, the tournament does not involve clubs but national teams so the redirect is inappropriate as well Smartyllama (talk) 17:57, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

- Jats of Hind → Peripatetic groups of Afghanistan (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
The ethnic groups described at the target are often known as "Jat" and given that they're perceived (sometimes incorrectly) to have originated in the Indian subcontinent ("Hind") this makes sense. However, there exists an unrelated ethnic group Jat people that are actually in India. So why not retarget there? Well, the term "Hind" is not plausible for an English reader to begin with, and even though it's conceivable it could be used in the context of the Jats of India, its specific form probably makes it more likely to crop up in Iranic contexts (as in Afghanistan). Overall, this is about equally (un)likely to refer to either of the two, so WP:XY applies. – Uanfala (talk) 13:29, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- Weak retarget to Jat people since Hind (disambiguation) first entry in places is the Indian subcontinent. Does not mention which location called Hind is in Afghanistan. There's already a link for Jats of Afghanistan. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:12, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- Jats of India would be an appropriate redirect, or maybe even Jats of Hindustan. Afaik, the term "Hind" is not really common where the Jats are, it's common where the Afghanistani "Jats" are found, and so the phrase is at least equally likely to refer to them instead. 14:36, 17 October 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Uanfala (talk • contribs)
- Delete per Uanfala. "Hind" isn't used at either article, and I can see where there may be confusion. -- Tavix (talk) 14:19, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Unlikely search term, likely source of confusion. --BDD (talk) 15:08, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

- Delete. Took me a while to figure out what was wrong with this (would have been helpful to say above), but the "D" is preceeded by U+0650 : ARABIC KASRA which is of no use to anyone. PC78 (talk) 23:43, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
