- File:Library study.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Orphaned image is a copy of this flickr image . The flickr page gives the license cc-by-nc-sa 2.0 which is not the same license as on the description. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 14:28, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Deleted as a copyvio: the uploader here failed to heed the attribution requirement of the license on the Flickr image. Nyttend (talk) 14:47, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Cardiff Montage.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Orphan image is a montage of several images with no independent sources or licenses for original images. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 14:35, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Read the statement given by the uploader: "I created this work entirely by myself". We accept claims of own works unless there's good reason to believe that they're not; unless you have good evidence that the uploader is lying and that one or more of the images is by someone else (e.g. a link to a website, like the nona.net on the listing below), there's no reason to delete. Nyttend (talk) 14:44, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Sources:
- Bottom: File:Cardiff University main building.jpg, public domain, but by a different author (hence not technically a copyvio, but casting doubt on the statement that the whole collage is "self-made".)
- Right: File:Senedd.JPG, also public domain by yet another author; same situation
- Left: File:Milleniumstadiumcardiff2.jpg, released GFDL/cc-by-sa by yet another wikipedia contributor, hence a breach of attribution requirements if nothing else. Could be remedied, if it wasn't for the fact that the source file itself is probably already a copyvio, from an image that is found in a much better version here. This file has a tortured history: it was uploaded here in 2005, then deleted per PUI as a likely copyvio in February 2006 [1]. In the meantime it had been transferred to the Chinese Wikipedia [2], from where it was transferred back here in 2009 [3]; finally it was transferred from here to Commons. By that time it was erroneously being attributed to the Chinese contributor who had made the first transfer from en-wp to zh-wp in December 2005, but who had apparently never claimed it was his own.
- Top: can't identify that one right now. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:19, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: Nyttend, I know we accept claims of own work, but with montages we generally look for all images to be sourced. Each image has its own copyright. If they all are owned by the same person, there is usually a line saying they are each released as such. This keeps uploaders from saying well, you can use my montage, but not the source images. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 16:50, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Loc jargari.png (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Orphan image claims pd-self but image had "nona.net" on the image itself. Possibly not free. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 14:38, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: in the unlikely situation that the uploader provided this to nona.net and then uploaded it here, there would be no reason to include the website's name in the own work image. Nyttend (talk) 14:45, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Westernside.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Image is an aerial photo with the schools logo in the corner. Unknown actual copyright status. Most likely the uploader does not own the rights to this photo. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 17:22, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
