We categorize people by their year of birth, but not by their month-and-day of birth, and the fact that February 29 doesn't happen every year is not a reason why being born on February 29 would be more defining than being born on February 28 or March 1. Nominator's rationale: Current name is confusing. While in classical scholarship these are often called simply "comic poets" and the fact that they are ancient Greek is assumed from context, in a general encyclopedia it's not obvious that this category should solely be for ancient Greek writers. Periodically comic poets who are not ancient Greek are wrongly put in this category, which is part of Category:Ancient Greek comedy and Category:Ancient Greek poets by genre.
