- Keep. Was mayor for 18 years (1994 to 2012) of a city with a population over 300,000. [1] Also served as president of the National League of Cities.[2][3][4] Was one of the targets of a mass shooting in the council chamber in 1998. [5][6] I recognize that there's some disagreement about where to draw the line on the notability of individual mayors, but I think he's well on the "keep" side of the line. --Arxiloxos (talk) 20:15, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
