Víctor Muñoz Villanueva (born 13 July 2003) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a winger or forward for Real Madrid B.
Career
Muñoz joined the youth academy of La Liga side Barcelona at the age of fourteen, where he played alongside Netherlands international Xavi Simons, Spain international Alejandro Balde and Spain international Fermín López.[1] In 2017, he joined the youth academy of Damm.
Four years later, he joined the youth academy of La Liga side Real Madrid, where he played in the UEFA Youth League. Subsequently, he was promoted to the club's reserve team in 2023. During the 2024–25 season, he was regarded to have established himself as a starter for them.[2]
Style of play
Muñoz plays as a winger or as a forward. American news website The Sporting News wrote in 2024 that "his speed is what makes him stand out the most and made him recently known as the fastest player in the Real Madrid squad".[3]
