WP:FRINGE and WP:UNDUE
Please see our policies on WP:FRINGE and WP:UNDUE. Just because one fringe opinion declares that something might be somehow in the realm of possibility, even if there is no legitimate evidence at all for it in fact happening, does not mean we have to give it the undue weight of including it in an article. Your only purpose here seems to be to insert this fringe speculation into an article. Why? Also, please see Talk:Adam_and_Eve/Archive_3#Genealogical_Adam for a discussion of this topic. Hi, thanks for the reply and the link to that section (I'm sharing my reply to this reply between two of you as I'm time limited.) Yes, that is the same argument I am making. I submit that it is not a fringe opinion, theres a good chance that a majority of relevant geneticist would agree that it is possible, and if not a majority than it would at least be a sizable minority. As for why I would like to make the edit, well the reason is that the page as it is asserts that most do not think there was as common ancestor that close to us in time (which is true) but then it also implies that not only do they not think it is the case but they also do not believe it to be possible, which is not true. I would argue that accuracy demands an edit, at the very least the implying of impossibility should be removed.
