Speedy deletion nomination of Category:2015 in Delhi
A tag has been placed on Category:2015 in Delhi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Please comment on Talk:Libertarianism
Please comment on the discussion regarding the use of the term "right libertarian" to describe libertarians that do not oppose free markets, and that do not make a clear distinction between laissez-faire capitalism and advocacy of free markets. This discussion can be found on the talk page for the Libertarianism article. The term is primarily used in a derogatory way and by self-described "left-libertarians". The individuals described in that article, and in the poorly-titled right-libertarianism article do not typically identify with the political right - or the political for that matter. This week's article for improvement (week 2, 2020)
The pilot in command of an aircraft is the person aboard who is ultimately responsible for its operation and safety during flight. This would be the captain in a typical two- or three-pilot aircrew, or "pilot" if there is only one certificated and qualified pilot at the controls of an aircraft. The following is WikiProject Today's articles for improvement's weekly selection: Please be bold and help to improve this article! Untouchables
Please stop trying to whitewash articles and remove any indication that a caste is (or was) an untouchable. It is valid (if unsavoury) part of history and should be kept. Continuing to do so may result in sanctions. Primefac (talk) 21:39, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
@Primefac: Hi again, the last edit from my end does not seem to be whitewash move as you have indicated above yet still it included the lines Constitution of India has classified the Pasi as a Scheduled Castes and are given reservation as per the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order 1950 (well-cited). Neither, I've disagreed that it's not a part of the History. I meant, if we follow the same trend will we start the article of Narendra Modi with he was a poor tea seller instead of the ...is an Indian politician serving as the 14th and current Prime Minister of India since 2014?
The 1950 national constitution of India legally abolished the practice of untouchability but the article start with the word untouchability which does not seem to be Neutral point of view. If it's a part of the history, we can have the history section. — Sanskari Hangout 04:01, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
- Hi! @Primefac: This is a soft reminder for the response on the matter. — Sanskari Hangout 13:17, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- The existing consensus is that a group's inclusion in the list of untouchables, even if legally abolished, is still something that should be listed. Discussing it on your talk page (or mine) will not change that, which is why I said it should be discussed on the article's talk page, though given that this issue affects a very large number of articles it might be better to hold such a discussion at the Village Pump or similar centralized noticeboard. Primefac (talk) 11:56, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Primefac: Thank you! I agree with your views. — Sanskari Hangout 12:25, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
