Hello Lara, I've just been reflecting on my early days on Wikipedia, and what a good team we were. I hope you are Indubitably well, and wish you all the best in every endeavour. Geometry guy20:01, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Geometry guy! I am, in fact, indubitably well and hope you are! Are you still active here? I so rarely come to Wikipedia, and there always seems to be a new feature. Now there is a reply button that doesn't work. Very cool. Indubitably (Talk)13:14, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Great to see you again! Its been so long. As far as the Reply tool, I think something in your talkpage template might be interfering with it. I've found that it works well on general pages, but the more heavily customized userpages sometimes give it trouble. The WordsmithTalk to me17:20, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Lara, I'm pretty dismayed by Wikipedia: any pretence at NPOV has been lost, as there is a bias in active contributors on almost every topic. I recently lost my bit for inactivity, which pissed me off a lot. Meanwhile editor numbers seem to have dropped, and so there are many pages that are just piles of cow shit that no one cares about any more. It might be painless to bring such articles to B level, maybe close to GA, so I am experimenting with that idea. Let me know if you are interested in such an adventure. In any case, I hope you are well. Geometry guy00:41, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hahaha - thanks for the reply - same old straight-talking Lara! After my desysopping experience, I am loath to do stuff for free here also, but I like to learn about things that interest me. Most recently the origins of life caught my interest, and the articles and templates on WP contradict each other, including some GAs, which is fucking annoying. If I can be bothered to do something about it, I will, but I totally get your perspective! Be well! Geometry guy22:10, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
