Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Please stop spamming the link everywhere, thank you. Whysquared 15:39, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi, the recent edit you made to Johann Sebastian Bach has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. RE: acc.umu.se
Hi. This is a nice resource and thanks for sharing it with us; however, you are adding the link to too many entries, to the point that it resembles promotion of said link. Why not add the url to one or two more central articles about music, instead to many tens of articles? Thanks. Regards, El_C 05:50, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not simply continue to add those links without comment, that's impolite(!). Thanks again. El_C 06:43, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- I am highly disappointed to learn you're just continuing on. This is your last chance. If you continue to add the links without comment, your access to editing will be restricted. There will be no further warnings. Please respond here and we'll try to figure this out. Thanks. El_C 08:27, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- You really left me no choice. Your access to editing has been revoked for twenty-four hours. El_C 08:37, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am really sorry that I didn't notice the "You have a message" - several times! When reaching attention, it was too late. However, when reading the comments I don't fully understand the problems. Previously, I have had external links like:
- Listen to free recordings of songs from Umeå Akademiska Kör
Thats seems to be OK.
Now I added:
Is that the problem?
I have noticed that someone have edit that to things like this:
Free recordings of Madrigals
Is that the preferrable link? If so, other links like:
Choral Public Domain Library (ChoralWiki] and Werner Icking Music Archive (WIMA)
obviously have thier "name" in addition to the link.
Is this not preferrable?
Anyhow, one major problem with encyclograpies is the lack of music examples due to copyrights and performing rights. My intention is to fill up this hole with old music (>70years) and amateaur artists (singers) who make their recording public at internet (>2200 included). Of course, the musical quality is much lower than professional artists, but I believe it is the only economical alternative. That's why I put a lot of privat money to keep a non-commercial choir-homepage to share with the world. Hopefully Wikipedia and their reader appreciete my intention.
Best regards Göran Westling

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
We just get concerned when we see a website being added across a massive number of articles without any comment. But if a couple of other editors think it's fine, then there's no problem. Why not ask about it in the talk pages of one of the more well know composer articles, or on the talk page of the Composers wikiproject? Thanks. Regards, El_C 18:10, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Francesco Landini. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDEN tell me a joke... 11:47, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Guillaume Dufay. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 11:49, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Feedback on the links you're adding ...
Hi, I like it when links to legal free audio are added, so I don't mind the links you're adding. It's better if you can link the files from the specific works, if possible, like I did a while ago at Jesu, meine Freude. Also if you can link to a specific page like "free Bach recordings", that would be a better link than the MP3's. Wikipedians are generally wary when you add several links quickly, unless you are an established contributor, because of the conflict of interest guidelines. If you can try to write articles, add referenced facts, or even participate in the talk pages, it's much easier for them to assume good faith. It's also easier to review your changes if you provide an edit summary. For example, in this edit to Josef Rheinberger, you could have typed "simplifying link" or something. You could also join Wikipedia:WikiProject Classical Music and participate there. Graham87 11:18, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
