El Talento del Bloque

This article exists for a different language version of Wikipedia, so I don't see why it cannot exist on English Wikipedia. I would love to improve my article, however, the guy who declined my submission never answered me after months of me replying to him regarding my confusion. CandleWickipedia (talk) 18:24, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@CandleWickipedia nobody said it cannot exist. What you need is multiple independent reliable sources with significant coverage. User:CanonNi (talk • contribs) 01:53, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add NoACEMM to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:48, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(I know this is automated but I'm replying anyway) Voted! IMO Wikipedia really needs a "I voted" sticker or topicon or userbox... User:CanonNi (talk • contribs) 01:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from VicariaAristhene (16:05, 19 November 2024)

Hello! Am I allowed to list myself as a source if I am a family member of the person in question? --VicariaAristhene (talk) 16:05, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@VicariaAristhene no you cannot, as that would be original research. In fact, you shouldn't be writing about them at all, as you have a conflict of interest. User:CanonNi (talk • contribs) 00:39, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Last Call BBS

On 22 November 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Last Call BBS, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Last Call BBS contains a chip-manufacturing game, a model-building simulator, a game of Solitaire, and more? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Last Call BBS. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Last Call BBS), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Deleting a article.

I propose taking action on the article "Bhavishya Malika Puran" as it solely presents propaganda spread by news channels for financial gain. Context: The article is highly disputed, and its accuracy as a translation of the original Bhavishya Malika remains unverified. News channels have extensively covered this topic, primarily repeating the claims made by the Pandit. Unfortunately, the errors in this translated book, which appears to be motivated by financial interests, have gone unchallenged. Having carefully examined the book and its issues, I recommend one of the following actions:

 • 1. Archive the article until credible evidence supporting its claims is provided.

Hi, CanonNi! I wanted to let you know I marked Miki Kaeok, which you reviewed earlier today, as unreviewed. Unfortunately, the creator has been creating articles using LLMs. For this particular article, it appears all the ref links are broken, which shouldn't be the case since the article was created today. I just wanted to let you know. :) Take care! Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 00:26, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I create a Article on World Labs, I want to Publish that can you review that and Also Help me to "How to Publish that Article." --KunalKore (talk) 17:07, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@KunalKore I've moved it to Draft:World Labs and submitted it for you. The draft is promotional in tone, and most of the sources are not independent, so it willl probably be declined when reviewed. Re Jamie Irvine edit.

Added 'In 2021 he featured in Series 7 of "The Brokenwood Mysteries". In Mystery 28, "Something Nasty at the Market" he played Johnny Oades.' Lastest film/TV info stopped 2020. Have just watched the dvd. Only added what he was credited with in that show. May be in earlier episode also but can not recall which one so when eventually rewatch series would add that too. Auctionvibe (talk) 10:54, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Auctionvibe you'll need a source to verify the statement. User:CanonNi (talk • contribs) 10:58, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The validly bought dvd is a source. Anyone can see him in the episode and there is no reason not to add it to his workography. Not competent woth formatting of tables so could not add to the one there whixh is why it was put in as a statement. Go watch the dvd and verify it is correct. Auctionvibe (talk) 11:01, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That would be original research. All statements should be supported by reliable published sources. User:CanonNi (talk • contribs) 11:04, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Preupellor about Bushi (region)

Hello CanonNi, I see you've reverted my two edits on the article Bushi (region) because I didn't provide a good source. Now I translated most of my work from the French article on the Bushi Kingdom, but admittedly forgot to copy the references, but I assume the problem is with the source worldstatesmen.org (which the French Wikipedia also used, so I assumed was okay)? I can re-add the stuff without the king list, but with the proper sources if so. Preupellor (talk) 10:54, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Preupellor worldstatesmen is generally considered unreliable (see Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources#Self-published peerage websites). Other than that, your edits were fine and just need some good sources. Let me know if you have any more questions, and happy editing!
