Hi @Awesome Aasim. Happy New year, and I hope you are doing well. I was wondering if you could help me understand how could I make this script workable on a RTL wiki. I recently translated the source code of the script: the main which gives a warning that the script is installed (it worked well) and the sub- (afd), changing the AfD link with the local one but it didn't appear to work. Do you have any ideas? ─ The Aafī (talk) 19:39, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I have not set up internationalization for the script. This is technically a cheat with six separate scripts, all loaded with one. If you take a look at User:Awesome Aasim/xfdvote.js you see that the subpages have the actual scripts. I forget why I did it this way, but I think it came back to bite me as it is now kind of difficult to make changes. Can you name the wiki you are trying to internationalize on? Awesome Aasim 21:04, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Awesome Aasim: I did notice that. I was trying to localise it on Urdu Wikipedia. ─ The Aafī (talk) 11:10, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
