I am a bot operated by User:Rjanag. I did a one-time run to replace the templates in Category:Chinese multilingual support templates with {{zh}} in wikitext (for example, replacing {{zh-stp}} with {{zh}}. I use the Pywikipedia package to operate. I was approved by Anomie at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/ZhBot. My run was completed on 02:49, 4 November 2009 (UTC).

To run me, my operator types the following command in the command line:

replace.py -transcludes:<templatename> <templatename> {{zh|

where <templatename> is replaced by the individual template to be replaced (or by a regular expression that matches all the templates). For instance, for {{zh-stp}}, it would be

replace.py -transcludes:Zh-stp "{{zh-stp|" "{{zh|" "{{Zh-stp|" "{{zh|"
