Our purpose is to create a web-based, free content encyclopedia of all branches of knowledge, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. The goal of a Wikipedia article is to create a comprehensive and neutrally written summary of existing mainstream knowledge about a topic. Editors are encouraged to be bold in editing in a fair and accurate manner with a straightforward, just-the-facts style. Articles should have an encyclopedic style with a formal tone instead of essay-like, argumentative, promotional, or opinionated writing. The five pillars is a popular summary of the most pertinent Wikipedia principles.

Background

Hacking

I first taught myself assembly in 1996 so that I could utilize SoftICE and various disassemblers, which allowed me to create custom video game cheats via hacking, including memory editing, code injection, and packet manipulation. My favorite online targets being Diablo 1, Diablo II, and StarCraft II; with some offline targets like Age of Empires II for a close friend. I then leaned into VBScript for botting purposes.

Game Development

I started branching out into Visual Basic for applications and HTML/JavaScript for websites. However, I eventually decided to pursue a computer science degree in academia, and turned that into a focus on Game Development using C/C++. I co-created a student-scale MMO based on Asheron's Call in 2004. I was the Network Engineer, UI Engineer, and Input Engineer. I co-created a student-scale FPS similar to Unreal Tournament 2003 in 2005. I was the Team Lead, Network Engineer, Particle Systems Engineer, and Map Designer.

Profession

I have worked in several e-learning industries, including general ed., accounting, and aviation. Most notably working with C/C++, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and Lua along the way. I co-created one of the first (proprietary) Content Management Systems (CMS) between 2001-2002 that was still in use as of 2025. In hindsight, we could have competed with WordPress, but I digress. I've designed and developed Pilot Training software using Flight Simulation to prepare pilots for FAA Certification. I've co-created a (proprietary) Adaptive Online Learning Systems, similar to an Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS), being one of the first web-based implementations for Accounting Certifications.
