This claim is based on a Wiki page which bases its claim on some articles (ESPN for one) that are simply wrong. There were older champions than Djokovic in 1908 and thus this claim is factually incorrect and should be removed forthwith. Agreed and co-sign this change. Open era needs to be added to the sentence for it to be accurate.

The sentence is at the end of an already enormous paragraph. The bio intro is almost 700 words alone. May open a discussion to sandbox removing the fat from the top half. Djokovic's "opposition to COVID-19 vaccine", bronze medal, or PTPA could be trimmed or removed from the intro to cut down those words, for example.

This article is too long and when you go to the rivalries section there are too many players. When you look to other players' Wikipedia pages, in the rivalry section usually there aren't more than 3 (maximum 4) examples. Surely he faced many opponents, but at this rhythm we'll even mention his unforgettable rivalry against Opelka. If also the other biographies started to talk about all the player they faced in a major final it would be endless. Please see what was discussed in archives, also his maternal family is not all Croatian, his father is an ethnic Serb, which he stated thousand times [[1]] and also news papers are NOT reliable source. No, the Serbian sites are equally reliable as gq magazine, especially if leading the same interviews with Novak, and his father, but again that is a magazine, so no gq magazine is not reliable, you can check on what wikipedia considers to be reliable and what not, and also the section of maternal croatian descent is already included.Theonewithreason (talk) 09:03, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
