Talk:Andrew Wakefield

This article is too long and contains too many quotes

The article desperately needs to be condensed down to something that an average reader might read. It's nearly impossible to find what you're looking for. For example, the lede calls him anti-vaccination, so it should be easy to find a summary of his stance on vaccination in this article. For instance, is he opposed to all vaccination or just MMR? That's the kind of thing that belongs in an encyclopedia, but instead we are given endless indented quotes and tons of needless material that more correctly belongs on the separate page for Lancet MMR autism fraud. Test kits?

"Wakefield reportedly stood to earn up to $43 million per year selling test kits."

Test kits for what? Autism? Fleas? Jellybeans? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.253 (talk) 22:00, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How is the insult fraudster allowed here

This does not come off very Wikipedia at all. How are not the moderators viewing this and asking for at least a non-personal insult word. Unbelievable. 2001:5A8:450E:E200:D18D:24BC:2AEE:8466 (talk) 22:23, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

He literally committed fraud. It's a descriptor, not an insult. Ferocious Flying Ferrets 22:47, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You can start with references 88, 89, and 92. Then consider that Wikipedia content is derived solely from reliable sources (see WP:RS). Perfectly believable. JoJo Anthrax (talk) 22:55, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
