Ndonga is a Bantu language spoken in Namibia and some parts of Angola. The total number of Ndonga speakers is estimated to be roughly 690,000.
Grouped with the closely related Kwanyama, it is also called 'Otjiwambo', 'Oshiwambo' or 'Owambo'.
The Rev. Martti Rautanen, a Christian missionary, translated the Bible into the Ndonga language [1].
