Jack Evans is a professional wrestler currently wrestling in Ring of Honor. Evans and tag team partner Teddy Hart (Hart Foundation 2.0) also wrestle in Calgary's Stampede Wrestling, and used to wrestle in the now-defunct Major League Wrestling.
Career
He made his Ring of Honor debut on November 1st, 2003 at Main Event Spectacles. He wrestled in a Scramble Cage Match with Teddy Hart against The Backseat Boyz, Special K, The S.A.T., and The Carnage Crew. He shocked the crowd at the beginning of the match by performing his "Ode to Blitzkrieg" (standing corkscrew 360° shooting star press and then a standing skytwister press). Later in the match, Teddy Hart gave a hurricanrana to his own partner off one of the wooden platforms onto two opponents. Then to top it all off, he did a double backflip off the top of the cage to opponents below.
On December 12, 2004 high-flyer Blitzkrieg gave his gimmick and mask to Evans.
Evans has also operated under the ring names "Jumping Jack Evans" and "Blitzkrieg 2"
In December 2005, Evans & Roderick Strong toured Japan with the Dragon Gate promotion. Starting in April 2006, Jack will be moving to Japan for three months to train and wrestle with the Dragon Gate promotion. In Dragon Gate, Evans became a member of CIMA's Blood Generation stable.
Ring of Honor also released a DVD entitled "Defying Gravity: The Best of Jack Evans"
With Matt Sydal and Jack Evans touring in Japan, Roderick Strong and Austin Aries announced at the June 3 Ring of Honor show that they are no longer apart of Generation Next. No word, if Sydal and Evans will still carry on the name.
