I have acted "boldly" and reverted an edit by a bot, CommonsDelinker. On 3 May, you tried to resolve a problem with the image by uploading a different image. On 17 May, CommonsDelinker removed the link to the image in the Kosher salt article, apparently because the image had been nominated for deletion and the request was approved. (I may not be explaining things exactly correctly here.) I think if you had uploaded the "salt in a small bowl" image and given it a different file name, the bot wouldn't have taken any action.

Anyway, I changed the description of the image to remove any suggestion that it still showed a box of "Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt", and reverted the delinking that had been done by the bot.

I see that a bot had also delinked the same image from the Jewish cuisine article, and two days later user Krd reverted that edit. I probably didn't need to comment on my edit of "Kosher salt", but I thought it was courteous to do so. Feel free to just delete this entry on your talk page after reading, unless I have committed a blunder and need to be corrected (which happens from time to time because I may not know and follow all the wiki rules). Thanks. I didn't know that my simple solution would so complicate matters. I suppose I should have used a new name and let the old file get deleted, but I was concerned about the articles with links to the image. But I think all is well, now, yes? Cheers!
