Francisco Juan Mendoza Martínez (born April 29, 1985 in El Salto, Jalisco) is a Mexican football midfielder who currently plays for Club Deportivo Guadalajara of the Primera División de México.
Mendoza came to C.D. Chivas USA as an import from C.D. Guadalajara's youth system prior to the 2005 MLS season.[1] He has been a part of the Chivas system since 1999.[1] He has represented Mexico on its under-17 team.[1]

Francisco "Panchito" Mendoza is the last original player of Chivas USA since the team developed in the MLS. He has the most minutes played in Chivas USA with 9,423 min. and has the most games played as well with 111 games.
C.D. Guadalajara
Francisco Mendoza was originally sent to C.D. Guadalajara so he could train and keep his football abilities up and going. While Mendoza spends more time in Guadalajara head coach Efraín Flores likes how Mendoza plays with the rest of the team and would like to leave him with the Guadalajara squad. Mendoza played in the 2009 Interliga with C.D. Guadalajara and fought for a spot in Copa Libertadores. Mendoza has also stated that he would love to be back home to be close to his family in Guadalajara and would be honored to stay. Mendoza went in to help C.D. Guadalajara in the Interliga but then he and the coach made a deal. The deal was if C.D. Guadalajara win the Interliga and go on to the Copa Libertadores he would stay. C.D. Guadalajara came out first in their group by a 1-1 tie with Club América, a 3-1 win win over F.C. Atlas and a 4-2 win over UANL. C.D. Guadalajara went on to the finals were they tied with Morelia 1-1 and went on to penalties on which they won 4-2 because of a block from Luis Ernesto Michel. C.D. Guadalajara would come out being the Champions of the Interliga.
On January 14, 2009, it was revealed that Mendoza would most likely not be returning to Chivas USA for the MLS regular season.[2] Instead, he will remain with parent club Chivas de Guadalajara.
