Judge Alex Kozinski is a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Appointed by President Ronald Reagan on November 7, 1985, Kozinski has won fans on the left and the right with his libertarian decisions.
He is noted for his judicial opinions which combine clear writing and humor. He has also written for mainstream publications such as Forbes and Slate.
Until the age of 12, Kozinski lived in communist Romania and still retains has a strong accent.
