This is a list of Quebec regions. Quebec, Canada, is officially divided into seventeen administrative regions. Traditionally (and non-officially) it is divided into around twenty regions. At the 2006 census, Quebec had a total population of 7,546,131 inhabitants living on a land area of 1,356,366.78 km² (523,696.14 sq mi). Its average population density was therefore 5.56 persons per square kilometre (14.41 per square mile).
