{{od|5}}{{Reply to|Miaurol43}}All edits by all volunteers are subject to review and reversion by all other volunteers. There was an explanation for Skitash's revert in the page edit History, as I've mentioned, citing two Wikipedia policies. You need to discuss this with Skitash and with any of the rest of the community which happens to be interested. This is what the Talk page discussion is for, and you've not given it time to occur. It is quite possible that Skitash is not aware of your one Talk page post for Beni Mellal, and there is the fact that you haven't tried to discuss your proposed changes to the Tadla-Azila article. And by the way, Skitash is not an administrator, simply a volunteer just as you are (and as I am), except that Skitash has 20 months' experience and has made over 7,800 edits during that time, while you've been editing for just under 12 months with 20 edits. Take this as an opportunity to learn. [[User:Glane23|Geoff]] | [[User talk:Glane23#top|Who, me?]] 20:38, 8 August 2024 (UTC)

Geoff Lane

If you feel that I have reverted an edit or issued a warning in error, please and let me know. I do make mistakes. Please don't interpret a reversion or warning on my part as a personal attack on you; it's not. Please bring any error to my attention as I am always open to civil discussion. (I will respond here on my talk page unless you request otherwise.) No worries, mate. Geoff

Question from San Noé (03:26, 14 July 2024)

Gracias Buenas noches. ¿ocupamos espacio emocional y positivo? Todas las personas si fueran más positivas serían mejor ante las adversidades? --San Noé (talk) 03:26, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This may not be the place to ask philosophical questions. Did you have a question about the English Wikipedia? Or perhaps you might try the Spanish Wikipedia. Geoff | Who, me? 03:39, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Elishamah (17:53, 14 July 2024)

Hello how do I post my first odition on wikpedia --Elishamah (talk) 17:53, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

See below - answered second identical request from same user. Geoff | Who, me? 18:00, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Elishamah (17:53, 14 July 2024) (2)

Hello how do I post my first odition on wikpedia --Elishamah (talk) 17:53, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Elishamah: Are you asking whether you can publish your own book on Wikipedia or how you can write a Wikipedia article? Geoff | Who, me? 17:59, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Ukokarus (21:14, 17 July 2024)

Hello Glane! I don't have any long term plans on editing Wikipedia. I just made this account to add some information regarding these russian military units to the english page. Could you please have a look on my page on 237th airborne brigade and make public? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:237th_Guards_Air_Assault_Regiment --Ukokarus (talk) 21:14, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ukokarus: You have yet to submit your draft for review. Drafts are reviewed by a group of volunteers, not by me. If you wish to initiate the process, click on the big, blue button at the lower right of the header at the top of the draft article labelled "Submit the draft for review!" You should be aware that the backlog of pending drafts waiting for review is quite large at present and it may take 4 months, or more, for the review process to be completed. You will be notified when the review has occurred. Geoff | Who, me? 23:30, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much! Ukokarus (talk) 00:22, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from BigDann (20:58, 28 July 2024)

Who was the first president of the federal republic of Nigeria ? --BigDann (talk) 20:58, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@BigDann: I don't have the resources or time to research questions not directly connected to the creation or improvement of the articles here. However, there is a page on the English Wikipedia where various volunteers try to answer questions such as yours, called the Reference Desk: Wikipedia:Reference desk. Although there is no guarantee that they can provide an answer, they are often able to. Please be specific in your question so that others can better assist you.
Anything you post to the Reference Desk will become public. I don't recommend that you post personal information such as email addresses or phone numbers. Generally, once you post your question, you can check back on the webpage in a day or so to see if volunteers have been able to answer you. Geoff | Who, me? 21:07, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Tethluach P. Yong (06:13, 29 July 2024)

Hello Geoff! I am new to Wikipedia but I have been writing for some years as a journalist. May you please help me how to take off from here? --Tethluach P. Yong (talk) 06:13, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Tethluach P. Yong: I suggest starting here: Help:Introduction. Geoff | Who, me? 12:10, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Glitch Girl (07:59, 30 July 2024)

Hello! Can I make a troll page for by bff? If not that's fine, just wondering. I'm new here too, so... --Glitch Girl (talk) 07:59, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Glitch Girl: Well, no. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and its articles need to reflect that. I suggest you start with this introduction and tutorial about how Wikipedia works: Help:Introduction. Geoff | Who, me? 13:07, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

article of deletion

hi, you nominated my article (tammy tran) for deletion, can you please advice what can i do to protect it, i also update the article to improve it and added more citations. Naqqash6 (talk) 09:36, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Naqqash6: Follow the advice you have been given on your own Talk page and read the notability issues cited in the deletion nomination:WP:GNG and WP:BIO. You may wish to read Wikipedia's deletion policy. Geoff | Who, me? 12:25, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Fatima has on Lang-8.com (15:54, 5 August 2024)

Hello, how are you --Fatima has (talk) 15:54, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Fatima has: What is your question? Geoff | Who, me? 16:03, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

you nominate my article for deletion

hi, hope you are felling well, you nominated my article (Tammy Tran) for deletion i have improved and updated that article, Kindly remove that nomination Thanks..... Naqqash6 (talk) 16:57, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Naqqash6:The decision was not in my hands, but whether the article should be deleted was decided by the consensus of those participating in the deletion discussion. Did you read how this process works on Wikipedia, as I suggested when you wrote on 31 July? The decision was to delete the article, per the closure just a few minutes ago. Question from Miaurol43 (08:26, 8 August 2024)

Hi, I have a problem with a editor that can promote the dissapear of indigenous cultures(Berbers) that protects the UN and Minority rights. He's called Skitash, he's removing all my edits and I put clearly the sources that I'm using, what can I do? --Miaurol43 (talk) 08:26, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The articles are Benimellal and Tadla-Azilal region, he removed neotifinagh from all the articles, knowing that in Morocco the Tamazight is an official language and neo tifinagh is protected by the country's constitution (article 5). He's making that Wikipedia stop being neutral as always was.
Thanks for your attention, I wait your answer Miaurol43 (talk) 08:33, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Miaurol43: You write about a content dispute. Article content is not controlled by a central authority, but I can outline how such disputes are handled on Wikipedia. First, looking the the edit summaries in the History of each article, the other editor has cited two policies, which I recommend that you read to start: No original research and Manual of Style - Lead Languages. Next, start by initiating a discussion about the changes on the article's Talk page, which you have done on the Beni Mellal article, but not on the Tadla-Azila article. You should check back occasionally to see if anyone has responded. This may be the simplest way to handle your issue. Second, if you think your concern is not one of misunderstanding but of an editing dispute, you may end up needing to seek formal dispute resolution. This allows other editors to take a fresh look at what is going on and to consider the dispute from a neutral standpoint. You can access more information about Wikipedia's dispute resolution process here: Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. Most dispute resolution requires you to have already engaged in discussion on the article talk page first, so you will probably NOT want to start here, but you may decide to go here if the talk page turn out to be unproductive for you. Last, you also have the option to change the content of the article as you see fit (unless you have been blocked for some reason). However, I must warn you that repeatedly reverting the edits of others or adding/removing significant content without discussion may constitute disruptive editing and may cause your account to become blocked. Please do not consider this your first option— begin with the talk page. Geoff | Who, me? 12:26, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But how can I win a discussion, he didn't answer any of my opened topics, I feel disgusted with the article, I'm from there and I feel offended that my native and official language isn't there, literally you can see my discussion with him but I don't receive any answer from him.
Thanks for answering my doubt, and give your time Miaurol43 (talk) 17:29, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I wrote about it in Tadla Azilal article(with updated sources,I can provide more if it's needed), how much time I need to wait for getting a answer from my dispute? Because I don't think that's a interesting topic between wikipedia editors, can I ask if it's read automatically by wikipedia editors ? Miaurol43 (talk) 17:38, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Miaurol43: There is no "winning." The purpose here is to improve the encyclopedia. Did you read the article the other editor suggested about not using your own knowledge or research as references in Wikipedia articles? Also, it has been all of 18 hours since you posted to the Beni Mellal Talk page. You're going to have to be patient with your fellow volunteers. Perhaps you need to learn how to notify other users when you have a comment, as I am doing here with my comments in response to yours, using the reply to Template. Read about it. Geoff | Who, me? 17:49, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
