WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

Thank you for your recent articles, including Abortion in North Korea, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You can also use a friendly script for that. You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:38, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Piotrus. Thank you. I usually add the templates right away, but I was doing the 100 wikidays challenge at the time and figured I'd loop back around and add the WikiProjects after. gobonobo + c 03:52, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. Try the script I linked, it makes it much easier! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:41, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

BOLA AHMED TINUBU (ADEKUNLE)?

Recently, we noticed a change in the name of the president of Nigeria "President Bola Ahmed Tinubu " as "Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu ". We have also noticed that you have been one of the wiki-editors of his profile over the years.

QUESTION: How and since when did Bola Ahmed Tinubu became known as "Adekunle"

The entire Nation has recently learnt that their president's name has changed so being from a well respected platform and and an editor since 2006, we want to know the basis of this change and who authorized it. Leave me a reply via.. OGWAGZ (talk) 03:03, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @OGWAGZ. Please tell everyone that "Adekunle" wasn't recently added to the article for Bola Tinubu. As far as I can tell, it was added back in 2009. Anyone can check what specific changes have been made by clicking on the history tab, which shows every single change that has ever been made to the article. gobonobo + c 03:30, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@GobonoboThe Adekunle you added to Mr. Tinubu's names was done 13:03 hours on 7th October 2023, if you this is not true, what then did you Edited on Mr. Tinubu's Profile? 41.184.162.11 (talk) 08:52, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

BOLA AHMED TINUBU (ADEKUNLE)?

From your response Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu what was the last changes you made on the 07/08/2023 @ 13:03 UK TIME? Nigerians are not dumb. There was no history to check for as of 2009. Adekunle is not in his passport and Nigerians do not know the current president "Bola Ahmed Tinubu" as Adekunle.

It is high time you woke up and follow the part of Justice and honesty. We have proofs.

YOU WERE THE LAST TO EDIT HIS PROFILE AND HAVE SINCE THEN SUBJECTED IT TO RESTRICTIONS DUE TO MANY CHANGES AND DISCREPANCIES. #GOBONOBO. OGWAGZ (talk) 05:48, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@OGWAGZ I just fixed some spelling in my edit. You might be interested to know that the reference that was used in the 2009 addition of Adekunle to the article was from a 1999 Lagos House of Assembly committee report that reads "The Governor said he was born Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu in 1952." gobonobo + c 06:01, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Nazareth Hassan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lack of notability, and IP has made a WP:BLPREQUESTDELETE here

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Asian mysterious pangolin moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Asian mysterious pangolin. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and mammal species articles require adoption by both IUCN and ASM's MDD, or significant acceptance by other similar secondary sources. Also redirecting this to [[Draft:Manis mysteria]; no need for multiple drafts. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. UtherSRG (talk) 11:36, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Political views of Javier Milei

Information icon Hello, I'm Cambalachero. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Political views of Javier Milei. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Vandalism of the user Pedantic Aristotle

Hello, Gobonobo. The user Pedantic Aristotle is undoing his edits in this pages: Political views of Javier Milei and Political positions of Javier Milei. This user insists at all costs on imposing, without any consensus, an article that does not have any neutrality and that does not reflect the original article. Additionally, creating an article of this type seems totally unnecessary to me. The original article by Javier Milei already addresses his political views and positions in a complete and profound way. Also, how is it possible that this user has made 2 articles on the same topic? And if that were not enough, now it is massively deleting information from the article in La Libertad Avanza, the coalition of politician Javier Milei. This user is causing a lot of problems in Wikipedia. Piertosiri (talk) 15:13, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Its ok if we disagree, but lets discuss in the Talk page, instead of edit war each other. Pedantic Aristotle (talk) 16:34, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, to correct myself, i used the word vandalism incorrectly, what i meant was disruptive editing, apologies for any confusion. Pedantic Aristotle (talk) 16:45, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to join the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Political views of Javier Milei about which (if any) of the two articles should continue to exist. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:38, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023

Stop icon
Your recent editing history at Javier Milei shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
