Template:Infobox Lost Character-1 Paulo is a fictional character on the third season of the ABC television series Lost played by Rodrigo Santoro. A survivor of Oceanic Flight 815, Paulo appears either to resent or to be indifferent towards the often rash and heroic actions of the other survivors. He and Nikki are romantically involved.

Template:Spoiler When Locke offers the survivors to venture back to the Pearl in "The Cost of Living," Paulo's girlfriend Nikki volunteers to go, much to the surprise of Paulo, who accompanies him after she says that he always complains about being left behind. When in the hatch, Paulo exhibits a constant sarcastic behaviour, and does little to contribute. As they leave, the group witnesses Mr. Eko's death. He and the others bury Eko in "I Do." In the episode "Tricia Tanaka is Dead" Paulo is against Hurley's plan to get the van he found in the jungle running. Sawyer sarcastically refers to Paulo as "Zorro", before he loses his ill-fated ping pong match to Hurley later that day.
