Why do you continue to add unsourced information to Wikipedia? This [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hideki_Kuriyama&type=revision&diff=1074062851&oldid=1058761256 edit] is the latest example that I saw. You have been blocked twice for this behaviour. Why does it continue? --'''''[[User:SVTCobra|SVT]]'''''[[User talk:SVTCobra|Cobra]] 08:51, 26 February 2022 (UTC)

Revision as of 08:51, 26 February 2022

November 2021

Information icon Hello, I'm SVTCobra. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bulls on Parade, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --SVTCobra 03:48, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I see you did the same to Whoomp! (There It Is). You can't make edits that are original research or personal observances. Please refrain from this. --SVTCobra 03:55, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ditto for Bangarang. --SVTCobra 03:57, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Beautiful Now, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.--Luke Stark 96 (talk) 01:00, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Bombtrack, you may be blocked from editing. --SVTCobra 01:07, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

December 2021

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at The Lonesome Boatman, you may be blocked from editing. --SVTCobra 06:56, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

Please, if you are going to add information to articles, you need to provide sources and references for that information. --TorsodogTalk 04:56, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, 2022 Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks season, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. You are fresh off a block for adding unsourced information to articles and you resume doing so? Why? --SVTCobra 22:24, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Sports-related curses, you may be blocked from editing. See also 1986 Japan Series and Chiba Lotte Marines and more --SVTCobra 22:29, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Felipe Crespo. Sea Cow (talk) 03:37, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Orix Buffaloes

It is really astounding how you keep adding to articles without sources and without acknowledging the warnings you have received about this. You even shrugged of your temporary block as if you were not doing anything wrong by adding unverifiable information. Please read WP:V. --SVTCobra 23:36, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Falulu.png

Thanks for uploading File:Falulu.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:30, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Second block

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for continued addition of unsourced content and a complete lack of communication with other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:41, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello AcerJack! Your additions to Tuffy Rhodes have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Larry Hockett (Talk) 03:56, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
